BHARATHANATYAM INDIAN TRADITIONAL DANCE

In the ancient era, Bhathanatyam called Sadira Attam. It is a classical dance aboriginal to Tamil Nadu. Bharathanatyam is 2,000 years old. This dance was invented by the ancient god call Lord Bhrama to Bharta who structure the dance in form of text called Natya Shastra.

Bharathanatyam is also used to reveal the stories of ancient gods, That is why people also called Bharthanatyam as feeling express dance. Bhartahnatyam expresses every feeling and emotion by the dance, It is very difficult to practice because of the stages. This dance can be practice by both males and females. 

In ancient times, before they perform Bharathanatyam they pray to Lord Shiba who is the god of dance in Hindu mythology. In Hindu mythology, people say that Lord Shiva will be a part of the dance whenever they pray before the performance.
