Buchaechum Dance

Buchaechum is a Korean folk dance where maidens will use hand fans to perform their dance. Buchaechum is also a dance that based on historical and religious dances. This dance was performed by a group of females wearing a traditional hanbok. 

Buchaechum was invented by dancer Kim-Baek Bong in 1954. He is also an influencer of Korean shamanic ritual dances and traditional Joseon court and folk dances. This dance performance becomes so popular worldwide. They performed Buchaechum in any traditional events and celebration in Korea.

The Buchaechum dancer uses big pink fans painted with blossoms plant and create the various forms of animals. Such as birds, flowers, butterflies, and dragons. Buchaechum performed by a folk song name minyo or sanjo instrumental music. Buchaechum means, 'Buchae' is a fan while 'chum' is dance. 

Buchaechum is also performed by Mexican females in the 1968 Summer Olympics. This the Beauty of Buchaechum from all countries.
